At the Institute for Medical Informatics at the University of Lübeck, interdisciplinary working groups develop and prototype methods, algorithms and software systems for computer-aided prevention, diagnostics and therapy. On the one hand, we develop and research new, learning-based procedures of Artificial Intelligence, in particular deep learning algorithms, which are used for the analysis of medical images, biosignals and other patient data. Furthermore, we introduce new model-based approaches to medical image processing. Furthermore, we scientifically deal with the integration and utilization of medical care and research data.
