Move Project
The integration and networking of medical equipment has become an indispensable part of modern operating rooms in recent years. At present, however, the market is characterized by closed solutions from large international manufacturers, so that market access for small and medium-sized medical technology manufacturers is clearly limited. Therefore, the aim of the project is to develop methods that support the approval and certification process as well as the risk management of openly networked medical devices in integrated operating environments, thus enabling small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the medical technology sector to access the market. For this purpose, a simulation environment including suitable protocols, test scenarios and test fields will be developed, which is able to test the networking of medical devices and software components in different simulated scenarios and to validate them with regard to different parameters.
